The stoner power trio Astral Kompakt has conquered a permanent place in instrumental stoner rock since its formation in 2017. The band draws inspiration from genres such as punk, blues and metal, creating a unique combination with a powerful and distinctive sound. The appearance at the Trafostation-61 Festival 2018 marks the beginning of a development that brought them attention and recognition in the Cologne stoner scene. Since then, countless concerts and support shows have been played for big bands like Rotor, Acid King and Skraeckoedlan. Astral Kompakt particularly impressed the audience with their and rousing show. The first EP “Obacht” with five tracks and the first video for single “Fundament” followed in 2019. Unfortunately, the planned tour had to be canceled due to COVID-19. But the band didn’t let it get them down and started again after the pandemic in 2023, released a vinyl version of “Obacht” with two bonus tracks and produced their first studio album “Goldader” in Hidden Planet Studio. The LP will be released in 2024 and is all about Astral Kompakt pushing sonic boundaries. With powerful, fuzz-infused riffs, doomy bass and powerful drums, “Goldader” takes listeners on a psychedelic space journey.

Baardvader is a fuzzrock three-piece inspired by 70s and 90s bands mixed with stoner elements. A familiar but unique sound presented in a modern way. Formed out of different bands, Baardvader returns to the essence of rock by injecting new energy to the genre. Definitely formed in early 2019 after years of playing in and out of different bands. Baardvader wrote and recorded their self-titled debut in spring and summer of 2019 and made the finishing touches to the album throughout the rest of the year. ‘Baardvader’ was released on January 31st in 2020 and was followed by a small clubtour the two months following the release, which was cut short due to the Covid-9 pandemic. Shortly after the pandemic hit the band started looking towards the future. During the two year gap the band wrote and recorded their second album ‘Foolish Fires’, finishing the final stages of the record during early 2022. Finally, after two years in the making, ‘Foolish Fires’ will be released October 1st 2022 to be followed with club shows during the fall of 2022.

Yesterday’s News is back with new music and will have two new bandmembers on stage! The dutch melodic punkrock band has been very busy writing and recording their new album, which will be released this summer.
Besides that they also welcomed Bart Schmitz as their new second guitarist! The band is ready to be released back on stage again and they can’t wait to make a wild party at Veulste Vet festival..
